Aaron who is stuck

I am trying to run a Windows 95 game in Windows XP Pro. I
hav run the compatability wizard on almost every exe file
in the Red Alert Directy and on the CD. It gives me an
error regarding the KERNEL32.dll..... what is the driver
for? Why can't I get the program to run ?

it's an out of date game.....and since it's a game...who cares....not like
it means anything at all...

Kernel32 is a WinXP Dynamic Link Library
The DLL in Win95 was kernel16 and not compatible with XP. (32bit versus 16bit
Go to the manufacturers website, many have updated drivers for their game
especially the expensive type (over $25)

I too have the same problem with all my games that run on windows 95.

My solultion was to install windows 98 as secondary OS and run all my older
games that way.
