Right-click on an empty area of the desktop and select "Properties".
Click on the "Desktop" tab and then click on the "Customize Desktop..."
button. Highlight (click on) the Recycle Bin icons and then click on
the "Change icon..." button. Click on the OK button to then exit and
when you get to the main Display Properties windows again make sure that
you click on the "Apply" button.
I can't help wondering _why_ someone would
want to change the Recycle Bin icon(s). The
default looks like a recycling container, and
comes with a neat mechanism of another icon
and a sound effect. I suppose somebody might
have a desire to use the default RB icon for
another purpose, or have thought up another
mechanism ...
