recycle bin

Anybody able to offer me any help please?

When I delete files and send them to the recycle bin,
nothing ever shows up in the bin. This is a recent
delevopment. In properties, everything is as it should be
to send stuff to the bin and also to display them. In
it's present state, I cannot retrieve any accidentally
deleted file as they don't appear in the bin.

Have you checked the properties of your recycle bin? To
see the properties, right-click and select properties...
