Recycle Bin - tries to delete files not in the bin...

My recycle bin correctly lists the files that I've deleted. However, when I
try to empty it, it fails, saying "Cannot delete Db10: It's been used by
another person or program".
I did not delete such a file (or even know which one it is). Any ideas?

I'm running XP Home SP2. My Recycler is on the C: disk - I can see its
contents OK from Explorer.

thanks...

Db10 is an internal name because Windows renames files that are moved
to the Recycle Bin.
Boot to the Recovery Console and delete the RECYCLER folders on your
HDDs to get rid of the data.
