Recycle Bin Keeps Emptying on it's Own

How can I stop my Bin from emptying on it,s own ( VISTA )
I have the bin sizes high enough in properties,
even a small file of about 300 bytes will be deleted in about 10 minutes.
There does not seam to be many options in properties for the recycle bin

I think I've worked it out now.
I got rid of Virgin Anti-Virus Protection and installed free Avast anti
virus, and it's fine now.
