Recycle Bin icon

The Recycle Bin icon on my desktop is a folder and not
the usual waste basket type icon. I went into control
panel customize desktop and selected the icon I want but
it won't change to any other icon.

I think it happened when I installed Norton SystemWorks
and adjusted the properties to turn off Norton
Protection. The recycle bin icon hasn't been the same
since.

Can't find any reference to it in the Knowledgebase. Any
assistance is appreciated.

Install TweakUI. Run the Repair icons utility.

'tis why norton crashworks is NOT recommended.
