Disabling the Windows Recycle Bin for an external hard disk drive is easy: checking the Recycle Bin options (1) 'Properties > Global > Configure drives independently', and (2) 'Do not move files to the Recycle Bin' for the external hard disk drive. While this does disable the Recycle Bin for the external hard disk drive for the current session, after restarting the PC the Recycle Bin is again enabled for that drive.
How do I 'permanently' disable the Recycle Bin for the external hard disk drive so that I do not need to repeat the process every time I login
Note that I wish to keep the Recycle Bin active for the internal hard disk drive on the PC. In other words, my objective is to individually disable the Recycle Bin for the external hard disk drive only
Thank you for your assistance.
