Recycle Bin - Cannot See Contents

Background: I'm running Windows XP Pro SP1 with Norton 2005 and something
called Window Washer from Webroots.
I am unable to see any contents inside the Recycle Bin even though the
desktop Recycle Bin icon shows that items are inside.
When Right-clicking on the Recycle Bin, I am able to delete those items, but
not able to see them or restore them.
I read somewhere about a corrupt INFO file and that I should delete it, but
the procedure was unclear and I didn't want to risk it.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. ;)

Jon, you may have a conflict with Norton, XP and Webroots. Try
Uninstalling WW from Control Panel/Add Remove Programs. Also, check at
Kelly's http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm Select R and
scroll to Recycle Bin
She talks about a corrupt Info file. Follow her instructions carefully.
Those steps are done from the Command Prompt.

Thanks for your quick answer.
I really thought I was on to something, but I get: "The system cannot find
the path specified." when I type in CD /RECYCLED.
This effectively terminates the next step.
