recurring tasks

HI Everyone

i have a recurring task in my inbox setup by another client and i cannot
seem to delete it

if i right click on it and hit delete, it says something along these lines

"one or more parameter values are not valid, please save the task order by
clicking save task order on the action menu in the tasks folder' -

well i do not have these options above as they are greyed out.

has anyone else ever experienced this issue? How did you get around it?

What happens if you select it, hold the Shift key and press Delete at the
same time?

unfortunately i get the same error above

Is this an Exchange mailbox or a PST?
