Recurring Reminder keeps coming up everyday

I am running Outlook 2003 and I keep getting a Reminder every morning for a
recurring appointment that has been deleted. When I click on the "Open Item"
button I get a message " Cannot open the item for this reminder. You changed
one of the reccurrences for this item, and this instance longer exists.
Close any open items and try again". So I have been dismissing the reminder
every morning. I believe I deleted this recurring appointment with the SHIFT
DELETE. Can anyone help me remove this annoying reminder. Thanks in Advance.

Does starting Outlook from the run with this switch help "outlook
/cleanreminders" without the quotes

Another one that may help is the outlook /cleanfreebusy switch and a
longshot if you dont mind loosing ALL your views is the outlook /cleanviews

Are you running any Add-ins that may interact with reminders, some things
you could try:

starting Outlook in safe mode aka outlook /safe from the run command
Do a Detect and Repair from the Help menu
Run the scanpst utility against it
setting the snooze time on the reminder to something like 5 years (if it
allows you to)
