Reminder notice after appointment has been deleted

I am running Office 2003. I deleted a recurring appointment with the first
date having already passed. I subsequently synced with Outlook. The
appointment does not show up but the reminder turns on every time I open
Outlook. How can I remove this reminder?

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command switch. See
"command line" in Outlook's Help for instructions on how to start Outlook with
command switches.
