Outlook 2003 reminder issue

I am having problems with the Outlook reoccurring reminders. I schedule an
appointment reminder and the reminder pops up on the day of the appointment
and tells me the appointment is 6 days overdue. If I dismiss the reminder it
will pop up next week with the same over due message. If set the reminder to
remind me 10 min later the reminder works and has the correct date.

On this same workstation I sync with a pocket pc and can not use the
reminders they do not seem to sync up properly.

Five times for the same question?

I apologize I did not think it was posing. Every time I post it gives me an
error message that asked me to try again later. I did not think to see if it
had actually posted.
