Recurring read receipt

N

NewToTechnet

We have a user who gets a read receipt every day from another user for a
message he sent over 1 year ago.

I would like to stop this from happening as it is frustrting the user.

Please could someone advise?

Thanks in advance

What type of email acct? Are the users on the same mail server? Do you have
access to server logs to see if the users server is getting a new copy each
day or if its somehow getting regenerated on your server?

Did the user create a rule to delete the receipt so its less frustrating? Or
can you do it on the server?

Diane,

Thanks for getting back to me. In answer to your questions....

The e-mail account is Exchange. Using Outlook 2000 client.

Where would I check for server logs?

I would rather not create a rule to auto delete, on the server or on the
client as this will not be fixing the problem.

Please let me know if you require any further info

Thanks
