Recurring Enter Network Password Prompt

The 'Enter Network Password' prompt continually pops-up
on my screen when I am on the internet and Outlook 2002
is open. I enter a password and check save password and
click OK, only to have it prompt me again 2 seconds later
with my password entered and the save password box
unchecked! The prompt is not present when Outlook 2002
is not opened. There is no point to this prompt because
Outlook 2002 is operational as is the internet.
My 'Network Password' is not truly needed...Please help!!!

Barbara,

I had this very problem and resolved it by installing Office Service Packs 1 & 2 and two fixes for Office dated December 4, 2002 and January 22, 2003. Unfortunately I can't say which SP or fix actually did the trick, but It's sure nice to eliminate that pesky box.
