recovery of registry deleted files

Hi,

I'm getting the following error after deleting the files
is a folder created by spyware/adware programs.

"explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows
You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created"

Any recommendations on how to fix it is greatly appreciated

I have no idea, since we don't know
the OS
the files
the folder
the name of the spy/Ad ware
what tool was used
any Event Log messages
...

Someone might know it they had more information.
