Recovered personal folder

Outlook 2003

I imported a pst file folder by folder 6 times each time it made a folder
called

"Recovered personal folder" should have chosen personal folder to import
into, it did import to personal folder but made 6 empty Recovered personal
folders

I cannot delete them, is there a way of getting rid of these?

I think it started from doing a scanpst to check for errors and it embedded
the

Recovered personal folder

You left out a whole lot of information. What problem were you having that
you were trying to solve? Importing is never the correct way to transfer
Outlook data. Why did you use it? Why would you repeat your mistake 6 times?

Thanks for your reply

We had another personal folder at the bottom that we could not access or
delete when we clicked a grey box come up, also calander was screwed up
showed wierd view
and would not reset to default
I created another profile for outlook imported pst it fixed the calander
view but of course I re-imported extra personal folder problem

I created another profile and imported each folder seperately inbox, send
items, contacts etc.leaving out what I did'nt want
each time I did it, it made this other "Recovered personal folder" at the
bottom

Thanks

Importing is what is causing your problem. Stop doing it.
Do you still have your original data file?
If so, check it for errors using the Inbox Repair Tool, then just open it in
a new Outlook Profile.
