I downloaded an incorrect device driver from Linksys and
now system will not boot. Can I find & remove the driver
using the Repair Install boot from CD?

Have you tried "Last Known Good" or "Safe Mode" from your Safe Mode options.
(Press F8 on startup)

Yes I have and neither will work. Always stops during what
looks like drivers loading. I can boot to Repair Install
for XP CD. But not sure what to do from there!

Does the Linksys show in device manager? Why not use it to
roll the driver back, or update the driver. You could even
remove the device and let plug and play re-detect and
install again.
