Recover Encrypted Fliles

Hi, I have a problem with my hard drive,it had win2000, I
had to install another one and now with both disc I can
see my files on the old one, but as are encrypted I have
no ide how can I copy my files to the new Hard drive or
how can I open my files. I'll apreciate your help.

Hi Raul,

if you used EFS and you didn't backup your EFS private key (export it) or
Recovery Agent keys, you lost access to your files for good.

If this computer is part of domain, you can ask your domain administrator if
he can try and access them for you, using recovery agent keys.
