recover disappeared emails

Help! Yesterday I re-installed a internet security suite and went into
Microsoft Outlook. It told me to choose a P1___.tmp profile, so I did and all
my emails were there. Then when I closed out Outlook 2002 (on a win xp home
computer), and opened it up again, it told me to choose a different profile.
Now all my emails have dissapeared!

How do I get this P1___.tmp profile back? is there a way? There must be
because I didn't delete anything - my emails, task, calendar, address book
has just dissapeared!

I haven't not backed any .pst files recently, and I tried the detect and
repair in outlook help; but that didn't do anything.

How do I get my emails back? HELP THis is URGENT and is very very important.
These are really important messages.

I am not using Microsoft Exchange, and I have tried importing .pst files;
but they are very old ones....how do I find the first profile P1___.tmp ?
