recording streaming radio

bbc radio has the facility to listen to programmes up to 7 days after the
original broadcast. What i am currently doing is line-out to my old cassette
deck and recording the programme. Is there a way to record the programme to
the hard drive so that i can burn it to cd to listen to it in the car?

You need a "streaming audio recorder". Go forth and google..
