I don't know anything about Windows Movie Maker, please no flames. My
company would like to start recording thier meetings. Could Windows Movie
Maker work for this? Get a highend webcam with microphone and record the
meetings with Movie Maker? What are the limitation on Movie Maker, can it
deal with recording a six hour meeting and if so what would be a projected
end file size?

Thanx

Windows movie maker should be able to. The only issue is that it breaks the
video file in small clips that you have to put them together and is very time
consuming. To put together a six hours clip require a lot of cpu power and
time. The file format is wmv and you can change the settings to a lower
quality to get smaller size. Th smallest size should be about 50k/s I believe
300k/m. Just do the maths. There are very inexpensive and more user friendly
software for video editing like sonic which in addition, will burn to DVD.
Better go for a commercial one. They are not too expensive.
