Hi, i have a question regarding microsoft xp recording
control. I don't know why I cannot use the advanced
setting control for recording to make the sound either
have more bass or trebble. Those functions on my
computer are inactive, and I don't know how to turn it
on. Can you help me, thank you.

From Help in the sound/audio volume window.
Note the last item below. Interesting...even I learned
something today and will fix it tomorrow.
-------------------------------------------------
To adjust the bass and treble level
On the Options menu, click Advanced Controls.
Under Volume Control, click Advanced.
Drag the Bass slider toward Low or High to decrease or
increase the amount of bass.
Drag the Treble slider toward Low or High to decrease or
increase the amount of treble.

#######This is important###########################
On the Options menu, if the Advanced Controls command is
unavailable, your sound driver does not support separate
bass and treble settings.
