Recording audio off the net

I would like to know how to go about in order to record via
my soundblaster sound card off the internet. I also use a
logitech pro 4000 webcam. I cannot seem to find a way to do
this other than having the sound come out from my speakers
and recorded through the internal microphone from the
webcam. This records noises coming from all aroung the webcam.

I need to be able to do this internally.

Thank you
Guy

Depending what type of sound blaster you have (I have a sound blaster
live platinum, and it works for me), you can install the software that
comes with the card, and you can select the input source. If you
sellect 'What U Hear' as input (usually Mic or Line in) you can record
everything you hear (including Windows error sounds - so be careful)
with any recording program or wave editor (eg, Sound Forge or
Goldwave).
