after I dwn loaded wmp9 I can now only use that program to
record audio cd's, unless I open one of my other programs,
which I don't really want to have to do. How can I disable
wmp9 so that I can use xp,(the way it was before
I "upgraded" to wmp9)to record audio cd's without opening
another program? Send reply to my e-mail

If you are using XP built in CD burning you must use
Windows Media Player 9 to write Audio CD's. Thats the only
way windows will do it. You can write data cd's using
Windows Explorer but WMP9 must load to write Audio CD's
