I upgraded my operating system from win 2000 professional
to win xp professional, what will happen if I have to
reconstruct the system?? with win 2000 I had a emergency
recovery disk, is there any such thing with win xp???,
I don't even have a CD like I did with win 2000,I only
have an upgrade CD with win xp.
Please explain, thanks for your help.

The Win XP CD - even the upgrade version - is bootable and contains the
Recovery Console, as well as the option to "repair" your installation. No
floppies needed - ah, progress!

You should be able to boot from the windows xp cd and choose the second
repair option that you see.
