Recommended security level for this zone is Medium

I have installed xp Service pack 2
Tools/internet options/security tab/Internet Zone.
When I try to move the slider to a less secure setting I get error."The
recommended Security level for this zone if Medium".
I cannot view ActiveX programs from some Websites because of this setting.
I went into the custom settings and turned on all activeX options to allow
and also changed the zone to low but Xp security settings will not change, it
defaults back to a secure setting. I went into the registry and changed the
internet lockdown zones to 1. I still cannot overide Microsoft's security
settings.
Does anyone know how to override the medium security setting that is
standerd in service pack 2.

Click Custom Level and enable the ActiveX settings you wish to enable.
