My computer when I put a disk in my dvd rw drive does not recognize and ask
me what I want to do with it in windows media player any more ....any ideas???

Run the Autorun tool to correct the settings:

Hello,

If the disc is not recognized, the 'ask me what to do' question will not
come out.

If you need to install a software from it, go to My Computer and double
click on the DVD drive. This should invoke the Autoplay in the disc.
