Recipients see attachments that I didn't send

I am not sure if the recipients are using Outlook or another e-mail program,
but some have contacted me telling me they cannot open my attachment...when I
haven't attached anything. I know that I am not sending the Vcard or
signature as an attachment. Any ideas what could be happening? Thank you.

Are you sending messages in Rich Text format and/or using Word as your
e-mail editor? (Try disabling Word as the e-mail editor and make sure
message format is set to plain text or html.)

Yes, I had it in Rich Text format b/c it looked nicer. I guess I have to use
plain text. Thanks for your help.
