recieving mail automatically without clicking the send/rec icon i.

In my old outlook express whenever I opened my mail it would automatically
download email into outllook express in my new outlook office 2003 I have to
click on the send/rec. icon in order to get my mail downloaded. Can I change
it so that it just does it on its own whenever I open up my outlook office
email? I do I just need to always click on the send/rec. icon to download
it? Thanks

Go into Tools | Send/Receive | Send/Receive Settings | Define Send/Receive
Groups, and make sure you have set an interval for automatic send/receive
(I'd recommend at least 10 minutes). This will also cause Outlook to do a
send/receive at startup.
