recently unable to access hotmail through Outlook

It seems to have started happening when I started using IE7 beta.
Perhaps its just a coincidence? But I am no longer able to retrieve my
hotmail through Outlook 2003. I recieved an email long ago from
microsoft that because I've had a hotmail account for "forever" that it
would continue to work through Outlook. Any ideas?

Grandfathered accounts are being closed AFAIK. Re-read the email from
Microsoft for exact information.
