Receiving error some names can't be added to Personal Address book

When I am trying to add a name to my Personal Address book in Outlook 2000 I
am receiving an error message: Some names could not be added to the Personal
Address Book. The action could not be completed. Any suggestions to what
might be the problem?

No. Outlook has not used a Personal Address Book in years. Neither should
you. Why are you using a PAB instead of a Contacts Folder?
