Russ,
While that is true that MS no longer "supports" .pab - that means in terms
of future maintenance and development. The feature still works and works
great! We don't care about the internal politics of MS, we just want to
use our computers in the way that works for us customers. It is
unfortunate
that MS is so unsensitive about its customers, I guess that is what
happens
when a company gets a monopoly.

Phil,
Could possible you have have inadvertently moved the file and Outlook
doesn't know where it is or have modified its name? Outlook has to
know
both, of course. I save for back up various versions and one has to be
careful. The PAB is a great feature!
