Receiving error in Windows Update - Modem Driver

When attempting to install Microsoft Modem Driver Version 8.28.0.0 from
Windows Update, the install fails as soon as it has finished downloading the
file. Any ideas?

Hi,

As there might be some problem with the catroot2 folder managed by Windows
Update. Therefore I suggest that you rename the
"C:\Windows\system32\CatRoot2" directory to some other name and retry
downloading the updates from the Windows Update site.

This should solve the problem.
