I am able to send e-mails to my friends' address and I checked at her end and
even if we do "reply" nothing comes through ever from her computer to mine
and she is using the correct e-mail address. We used to be able to send back
and forth no problem. Help!

Does your friend get an error message or non-delivery notice when
she tries to email you? Who is your mail provider?

Oh and no my friend just sends me messages and does not have any idea (until
I tell her) whether I am getting them or not and I am not!

Hard to say what is happening. If AOL was stopping the emails, I'm sure
they would have notified your friend (their customer). If your mail provider
is blocking the emails, they should have sent some sort of 'bounce' notice.

What is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Can you check your email via webmail to see if the missing emails
are there?

Is there an error message when you try to receive?
What happens when you send an email to yourself?

Hard to say without more details. Do you get an error message when
you try to receive? If so, right-click on the error message, copy, then paste
it into a reply here. If no error message, does it appear to go through the
motions of checking the mailbox on the server? What happens when you
send an email to yourself?
