Receiver of my presentation is not hearing the sound

I inserted background music for my presentation and when I emailed it the
person said that they could not hear it and that they got a message that said
that the file could not be found..

Of course, the file can be found on my computer so I am able to hear the
sound. How can I insert sound so that anyone I email my presentation to can
hear it?

If the music is in wav format, you can embed
the music into the presentation. If you are using other format, you can also
try to convert the music into wav format using sound convertor such as Free
CD-DA Extractor 4.8 (
http://www.download.com/Free-CD-DA-Extractor/3000-2140_4-10327914.html ). By
doing so, the music will be embedded
into the presentation (preventing the link from breaking) and you do not
have to email the music.

Alternately for non-wav format,
Create a new folder and move the ppt and music into the folder.
Now, open the ppt file, delete and reinsert the music to create a pathless
link.
Then, save your presentation.
Email both the presentation and music.

Read about how to embed your music into the presentation and other related
information here:

can you type down step by step on how to do this. I am having the same
problem but don't quite understand if I should be embeding if so how or put
the music file and ppt in the same folder (which I have) Should the file be
WAV or MP3. I downloaded the converter which is great but if I don't need
it.... I did try to send after the conversion but the file was HUGE so it
would go through due to Symmantec. I'm getting a little frustrated but I
know it has to work. People make Christmas PPT or PPS with music attached. I
don't see any other file along with it when I open the emails. How is this
done?

Help Please. I've read most of the question and answer but none actually
tell you how to do the step by step. I am using the insert music file and
then letting it start at the beginning of the pps to the end on a time frame.
My only problem is what am I doing wrong. Perhaps I should not be inserting
the file that way?

Help if you can and Thanks!
