sound clip from Clip Art collection

I inserted a sound clip from the Office (2002) Clip Art collection and
programmed it to play automatically after the last animation in the slide. I
saved the presentation as a Slide Show and I can hear the sound on my PC as
planned. Even though the recipients of the slide show have sound capabilities
and even though their speakers are NOT muted, they can see the presentation
with its animation but CANNOT hear the sound. What could be the issue?

Thanks!

The sound is not embedded, so they haven't received it. Using Package for CD
is one way to avoid this.

The only sound files that get embedded are .WAV files all others are linked
and must accompany the presentation. What type of file is the sound clip?

How do I embed sound?

Unfortunately, .MID files get linked and have to travel with the
presentation. There are a number of converters out there which will convert
your MID file into a WAV file so you can embed it.

It is from Microsoft Office's Clip Art collection and it has an .MID file
extension.
