Received Faxes Print Only Blank Page

Whenever I receive a fax, the only thing that prints is a
blank page. When I view the fax in the My Faxes directory
it appears correctly. Any ideas? The fax service is
running on Win2k with SP4.

I don't see any problems with the printer configuration.
It prints without any problems both directly from the
server and from clients on the local network.

I am having problems with the printer using IPP. I have
posted this recently in the Printing group (but have not
received a response from anyone), which I have pasted
below. I think this is a separate issue though.

I just setup a Win2k box as a print server, and when I
go
to http://computername/printers, I see the list of
printers. When I click on the printer I receive the
following error:

An error occurred processing your request.

Error Code: 80070709
Description: Printer not found on server, unable to
connect.
Note: Open Helper

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Forgot to mention that I'm using an HP Color Inkjet cp1700, not sure if that
really matters.

Hi Jason,

Is your problem already solved? I have exactly the same
problem with the blank papers. Printer works fine for
normal use but incoming faxes he don't like to plot on the
paper.

Please send me reply if you know the answer. I'll reply
you if i found some infi.

Hi Jason,

Same problem on my system. I use a deskjet930c shared as a
default printer on win2000server sp4.
I add a 2nd printer configuration on the same (usb) port.
This one i choosed a 'deskjet pro' and disabled sharing.
I configured this printer to be the default printer for
incoming faxes and it works fine! I tryed to configure a
second deskjet930c but it did not work. The deskjet pro
driver is compatible for the deskjet930c so the printer
accepts it. Perhaps it is something with the printer-
driver of the deskjet930c but older drivers didn't work
eighter. 'Deskjet pro driver' is an simple black and white
300 dpi printer and perfect for fax-prints.
You did not tell witch printer u have but try a second
printer configuration of a compatible older one as your
real one.

Still didn't get it working. I'm using an HP Color Inkjet cp1700.
Unforunately I don't have another printer to test on, and space is limited
as is.

I have the same problem reported by others on this post. I get only blank pages equal to the number of pages that wer sent, when a FAX is received. My printer is an HP Photsmart P1115. Is there any solution to this? TIA!!
