Any suggestions as to why I cannot receive HTML mail? Setting -
tools>options>mailformat>message format - set at html

It used to work, but not anymore....still works from my laptop using the
same account.

That setting is for creating a new message using HTML.
There is not an option to recieve it a certain way. If it's sent in plain,
you get plain.

Can you suggest a reason why the same email received on my laptop and my PC
are received differently one in Plain and the other in HTML? If have tried
to ensure that both have identical settings.

A few questions for you.
Is one a work computer and another a home computer? There are server
settings (say at work) to strip HTML format.
Otherwise go to Tools / Options / Security and match the settings there.
Maybe the download images is blocked and it appears to be plain.
Are you using 2003 for both?

Sorry it says 2000, not 2003 right in your header. I missed that, sorry.
Still check security and it could still be a work thing.

Both machines operate on the same Hub & Internet Server....Security (appear)
settings match. (and I can and do run machines simulataneously)
The full picture:
The specific HTML email comes from our own Website (our clients work orders).
There was a time when the Laptop reverted to Plain Text but only after I
fiddled with settings, including the International Settings, when I changed
the Int. Settings back it worked again. Yes - both machines have the same
International Settings.
