Receive FAXES

Help I can not receive a fax,here is what happens,a fax comes in I manually
answer the call I here the fax tones and the fax console says receiving fax
but the message does not download and I get a error saying message not
received ,can anyone help

I'm no expert with that, but it might help isolate the problem if you can
provide some more info - did this ever work? Can you think of anything that
changed since it last worked? Can you try a different modem? Can you send
faxes successfully using this one?
