Receive error message "Unable to attach to Outlook's default folde

Hi everyone....sure need to good help with this one. I was syncing my Palm
Pilot and received the following error message:

Outlook Contacts 3.1.7.1
Error: 00008001
Unable to attach to Outlook's default folders. Please see the help file
topic, "Unable to attach to Outlook's default folder".

81: PMStore
Outlook Contacts synchronization failed.

I think this is an Outlook problem, not a Palm Pilot problem because I use
Outlook 2003 at work and never receive this error. I use a program called
SwitchSync that let's me hotsync to multiple PC's.

You mentioned using OL2003 at work. Is that where you're receiving this
error? If not, what version are you using where you're getting the error?

I am receiving the message on my home PC.......this is a new problem and I
have not performed any updates. I am using Outlook 2003, v11.6568 .6568. SP2.

Outlook is working fine on that machine, I'm guessing. What does the sync
software say about being unable to attach to the folders?
