My system (XP Home,SP2, 3.0GB Celeron) lately has been rebooting itself 2-3x
during the initial startup in the morning--it never gets to the POST process
during that time--but then it will boot correctly and be fine for the rest
of the day. Do I have a PS problem it is a 400W PS but I recently upgrade to
1GB of HD memory (which works fine after booting), before I had 512MB.
Any suggestions????
Thanks,
Glen

"Works fine after booting" - but started doing the delayed (non) booting
thing after you put it in?
Sounds like bad or incompatible RAM. That Power Supply seems plenty large
and that would be quite the coincidence with the RAM, don't you think?

Yeah, I thought so too. It is a 1GB PC3200 with Hi Density modules (my mb is
ok with that). I've taken it out and replaced it with the old 512MB and the
same thing happened. So, I put back the 1GB and re-set my VGA video card
and, now everything seems ok.
Thanks for the response, Shenan--may have been a case of bad seating of
card(s). Or it may happen again sometime. We'll see.
