Rebooting issue

Hi,

My Win2k pro platform is for somereason rebooting,
sometimes when I log on or when I start a game. I have
looked at event viewer and it shows a bug check for:The
computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:
0x000000d1 (0xfe2958e8, 0x00000002, 0x00000000,
0xbfd4bd2e). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was
saved in: C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini091203-01.dmp.

I went to eventid.net and found some Q article which I
searched at microsoft.com and found nothing. Would someone
out thier have any info on this issue? Should I just
reinstall?

thanks

Tyler

Tyler,

I've been having the same problem, usually on the 2nd
dialup attempt. The Event Viewer will show that the True
Vector Engine had an error, if you look on the application
tab. From what I understand, this is part of Zone Alarm's
firewall. Unfortunately I've been unable to find a
resolution for it. The first dialup attempt usually
connects OK, but any subsequent attempts result in a
spontaneous reboot.

you might try this...
go to Start|Settings|ControlPanel|System|Advanced|Startup and Recovery
uncheck the box for automatic reboot on error
sometimes the True Vector component of ZoneAlarm causes a system error,
however, I don't think you want to reboot every time that occurs
also, do you have the latest version of ZoneAlarm? you might check
