rebooting, again and again and again

I have installed all service packs for W2000. Now my
laptop computer (DELL) just keeps rebooting.

After it appears to be bring up W2000 it goes to a blue
screen that has the message
c0000135 the dll cannot be found, specify path and then it
just reboots itself. OVer and over again
Any suggestions?
 
Which DLL can't be found? Did you perhaps also download hardware-drivers?
Certainly on laptops it is not wise to download and install hardwaredrivers
by Windows Update.
Try to boot in safe mode and use last known configuration.
Make sure you do install the ms03-026 patch.
