reassign meeting organizer

We have reoccuring meetings owned by a user that does not work here anymore.
is there a way to reassign the meetings created by that user? he has been
gone too long to find his nt id.
help.
 
This is not really possible. You will need to delete and recreate
the meetings.

You must each individually delete the meeting.

If you are using Exchange Server, ask your email administrator
to remove the meeting from the resource if necessary.
