Automatic Meeting Cancellations

I'm having a user that is having a strange issue with Outlook. He is running
Outlook 2003. We have Exchange 2003, SP2. This user setup a recurring
meeting with his manager. The manager accepted it, but about 10-15 minutes
later, the manager received a cancellation of the meeting from the meeting
organizer. Even though the organizer wasn't in the office anymore.

This happened before with this same organizer. It was also with the same
manager. This meeting was one that was already approved and was occuring
each Friday. One day, the meeting was off of the user's calendar. Someone
suggested a new time for the meeting and the organizer received a "New Time
Proposed" email, but when the organizer went to accept it, the email said
"The meeting is not in the Calendar; it may have been moved or deleted."

Any Thoughts?
