Readyboost with flash drive question

I plugged in my 1G flashdrive and the autoplay came up, selected
readyboost and the configuration, when I unplug the drive and plug
back in, that autoplay came up again, but this time doesn't have the
readyboost option, is it normal?
 
If you plugged it back into the same USB port - Then yes, the behavior is
normal.
