Reading restored .pst file

I have partitioned my HD. I copied my pst file to another PC. I have
reinstalled Outlook (98) but cannot read the pst file.
I get an EM saying properties must be defined prior to use. I have gone on
to use the reccommended inbox repair tool, but when I add the repaired file
either by import or open methods, there is no information there.

I am using XP home SP2. Any ideas?

First, what version of Outlook was used to create the PST originally?
Second, have you created a mail profile on the second PC yet?

It was always Outlook 98. The other PC is my wife's (networked) & it also
has OL98 with her mail pofile on it. I have not set up my e-mail account on
my PC as yet as I didn't want to download any e-mail until I got the pst file
restored.

You need to create your mail profile first. Control Panel's Mail applet
does that.
