Read Receipt button and forwarding custom forms

I

Ianiv Eisenscher

I have 2 issues with a custom form, one is described
below and has to do with forwarding custom forms, and the
other is that I was wondering if there was a way for me
to create a button on the toolbar to turn on read receipt
so that my salespeople don't have to go into the options
of every sales e-mail, they don't want them always, but
would like to have a menu button that turns it on or off.

I created a custom form for a sales application for our
telemarketers to send to our head salesperson. He then
trys to forward that custom form to one of the
salespeople to follow up on. The form is sent to the
head salesperson fine and he can see all the info, but if
he tries to reply to, or forward it to the salesperson it
says that you can't "send on behalf of Joe
Telemarketer". I checked the actions tab in the design
form and it seems normal. Is there any other place where
I need to specify this. The form is published
temporarily to each persons personal forms library until
I fix this, then it will be published to the
organizational forms library.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions,

Ianiv

You'd need to put that button on the form itself and write code for its
Click event to set the ReadReceiptRequested property value.

Make sure that the Forward action on the custom form specifies that you want
to use the same published form for forwarding. If you need to change the
Forward action settings, you'll need to republish the form.
