Read - Only Files

I am having trouble changing the Read Only status of some
folders for a tax program. I click the properties and
change it but it does not stay changed. What can I do?

Are you talking about files, or folders? You've mentioned both. Don't worry
if folders show up "read only" - that isn't where the problem lies - if the
file attributes inside them say read only, there's the issue. More likely
it's a permissions issue to the folder in question...what problems are you
having?
