I have recently gotten a new computer. I had a lot of
things saved to disc for me including some documents. I
am trying to open my saved data base but it says it is a
read only file. How can I open it? I have tried several
different things, but nothing works!

In Windows Explorer right click on the files and uncheck "Read Only". Are
you having problems doing this?

Files burned to a cd always get marked as read only (unless you use packet
writing software and cdrw's). To open a file you saved to a cd, copy the
file to your drive and try to open it. If it is still read only then right
click on it, properties, uncheck the read-only box.
